1.  1/2" Brass rod (Aprox 7" Long)
         1 @ 3". 1 @ 1 1/4", 1 @ 2 1/4"
       Home Depot or Hardware Store:
2.  4 in. of 3/8 in Aluminum Rod
3.  One  36" of 1/8 in Stainless Steel Rod
4.  One  36" of 5/32 Stainless Steel Rod
           Welding Supply House:
6.  Three #8 x 32 Set Screws,  One C clip,
       Two #8 x 32 Nuts, One #8 x 32  1/2" Screw
7.  One Pieces of Cora-plast  12" x 12"
8.  One Pieces of  Colored Cora-plast  7" x 5".
I get mine from Sign Stores scraps.

Below are some drawings of the individual parts.  Once you have all the pieces cut  and threaded were need be it only takes a few minutes to put it all together!
